Despite challenging road conditions, our Sales team gave up their day off to help support Birmingham Hospice by collecting Christmas trees across the region. Working alongside other volunteers, they filled three Senator Group vans with around 75 trees of all sizes.

Treecycling is an annual initiative that raises vital funds for Birmingham Hospice. The charity provides essential palliative and end-of-life care for local people living with a terminal diagnosis, supporting patients and their families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Each year, volunteers collect real Christmas trees from homes and businesses in return for a donation, helping to fund the hospice’s work while also offering a convenient and sustainable way to dispose of unwanted trees.

This year's campaign raised over £153,000, bringing the total to one million pounds raised since the scheme began in 2012. The money collected will go directly towards delivering specialist care, both in the hospice and in the community.

All trees collected will be chipped, recycled, and turned into biofuel instead of going to landfill. This ensures the initiative not only benefits the hospice but also supports environmentally responsible disposal.
