Director of Indirect Channel Sales – Allermuir & Senator
The Indirect Channel Sales role is responsible for driving sales for the Allermuir and Senator brands through a network of independent manufacturer representative groups. This role develops and executes sales strategies that drives profitable growth, expands market presence, and strengthens relationships with dealers, the A&D community, end users, and other key industry partners.
This position is based out of Maumee, OH or Chicago, IL.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Achieve annual sales objectives by effectively leveraging available sales resources.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies and annual business plans aligned with the company's commercial objectives, establishing clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations for assigned territories and representative organizations.
• Develop and manage sales forecasts, territory plans, and pipeline reporting to ensure predictable business performance while measuring progress against established goals and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Work with Leadership to develop a high-performing network of independent manufacturer representatives by conducting regular business reviews, joint sales calls, and performance evaluations, while identifying market coverage opportunities and recommending agency appointments or transitions as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals, the A&D community, key end-user customers, and industry influencers to reinforce market presence and drive business growth.
• Develop and execute dealer strategies, programs, and business plans that strengthen dealer engagement, expand market coverage, enhance brand representation, and drive profitable growth.
• Identify market opportunities, competitive trends, customer needs, and emerging market sectors to inform business strategy, drive sales growth, and provide actionable market feedback to Product Management and leadership.
• Foster a culture of customer focus, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the representative network and dealer channel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within the contract furniture or commercial interiors industry.
• Demonstrated success leading regional or national sales teams and delivering sustained revenue growth.
• Experience working with independent manufacturer representatives and dealer networks strongly preferred.
