This annual initiative, hosted by Habitat for Humanity, goes beyond construction - it is about creating meaningful experiences for families and children, and helping define what “home” can feel like.
The Playhouse Project focuses on building custom playhouses for children, providing them with a safe, dedicated space to play, imagine, and grow. While the structures themselves are small, the impact they have is significant. Each playhouse represents care, support, and the coming together of teams who share a common goal: to give back in a meaningful, hands-on way.
One of the most memorable moments of the day came when the completed playhouses were revealed to the families. Seeing the children’s reactions - their excitement, curiosity, and joy—was a powerful reminder of why initiatives like this matter. For many, it was a moment filled with smiles and even a few happy tears, as these new spaces instantly became places for creativity and memory-making.
The Senator Group’s involvement was driven by both volunteer effort and company support. Team members dedicated their time and energy to the build, while the company proudly sponsored two teams to help bring the project to life. This combined effort reflects a shared commitment to community engagement and making a positive, tangible impact.
More than just a day of building, the Playhouse Project highlights the importance of giving back in ways that go beyond the workplace. It shows how teamwork, generosity, and practical action can come together to create something that lasts.
Thank you to everyone involved for helping build not just playhouses, but brighter futures.
